ESOL for Family Life in Bristol is a 10-week short course that meets one day a week for 3 hours.

It is taught by a vocational specialist and an ESOL lecturer who will together teach sessions on subjects such as: the education system in the UK, how to navigate your child’s school website, understanding the benefits you are entitled to, learning about free activities and resources for families in Bristol, telephone conversation practice for booking appointments, and laws in the UK for children and families.

This class is best suited to individuals whose first language is not English and who are looking to understand more about family life in the UK while practicing their English language skills. Due to the nature of the course, having at least Entry 2 Level of English is recommended before joining.
